Steps to Improve Performance

Although we don’t think most traders will have any performance issues with Webull’s software, we are aware that there might be times when some combination of network speed, computer resource usage, and number of screens can create sub-par performance on some systems.

If you experience any sluggish behavior from your Webull trading platform, or if it ever freezes up on you, here are a few easy things that you can do to improve the capabilities of your trading computer.

Hardware Upgrades: Upgrading RAM and using an SSD can improve multitasking and platform performance on your trading computer, enhancing data access speed and optimizing your trading experience.

Network Optimization: To ensure a stable and fast internet connection for real-time trading, use a wired Ethernet connection instead of wireless. Prioritize your trading platforms in your modem or connection software for a reliable connection during trading sessions.

Software Optimization: Regularly update your trading platform for improved speed and stability. Benefit from the latest bug fixes and performance enhancements by keeping your platform up to date. To optimize system resources, close unnecessary applications and tasks that use CPU and RAM. Schedule non-trading tasks for outside trading hours to minimize resource usage during critical trading periods.

Platform Settings: To avoid slowdowns, simplify your trading charts by reducing complexity. This includes minimizing indicators, removing redundant data, and streamlining the visual elements. By optimizing your platform settings, you can have a smoother trading experience without losing essential decision-making information.
